The Great Orchestra of Holiday Help (Wielka Orkiestra ?wi?tecznej Pomocy) is going to take place.All bands play for free, everyone volunteers for free. For the money we all collect we will help purchase modern equipment for saving lives of premature babies and insulin pumps for pregnant women with diabetes. COME JOIN US!!!!!

July 14th - CHICAGO SUMMER DANCE FESTIVAL!!!!!!
The Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events in partnership with the Chicago Office of Tourism and Culture presents the 15th annual Chicago SummerDance Festival this summer. Each Thursday through Sunday from July 7 to September 18, the Spirit of Music Garden in Grant Park blossoms into an urban dance space.
Free Polish and Carpathian Basin dance lessons by Ethnic Dance Chicago and live music by Megitza Quartet, performing Gypsy (Roma) and Carpathian Folklore music.

Chicago Folk & Roots Festival is a two day celebration that attracts 30,000 people for a spectacular array of music and dance performances, workshops, children's activities, and an assortment of locally-owned food, drink and retail vendors. Chicago Folk & Roots Festival is one of the most anticipated neighborhood festivals of the summer and has built a solid reputation for artistic quality.
Megitza Quartet will perform at the Main Stage at 1:20 p.m. The Main Stage in Welles Park is the sonic heartbeat of Folk & Roots with a boundless supply of rhythms, grooves and melodies from far and wide to last you all weekend long.
